Move a ladder diagram rung

Move a ladder diagram rung to have the instructions on the rung execute at a different time in the routine.
Prerequisites
To move a ladder diagram rung
Use one of these options to move a ladder diagram rung:
  • In the ladder diagram, drag the rung selection region of the rung to a valid drop zone. Valid drop zones are indicated by Valid Drop Location Indicator.
    TIP: To move a rung, right-click the rung header and then select either
    Move rung up
     or
    Move rung down
    . Valid drop zones may vary from rung to rung. Dropping the ladder element in its original location does not move or copy the element.
  • To cut or copy and paste a rung, right-click a rung and select
    Cut
     or
    Copy
    . Select the rung above which you want to paste the rung. Right click and select
    Paste
    .
