Object icons

This table defines the icons in the FactoryTalk Design System.

Indicator		Meaning
Online and offline		Online indicator for nodes such as programs, routines, and devices.
		Offline indicator for nodes such as programs, routines, and devices.
		Indicates a mix of nodes, some online and some offline. A dashed circle appears around an element's icon indicates that this node contains child nodes that have an offline-only or online-only state that is different from the parent node. Expand the child nodes to see the differences in these states for the child elements. Note that this icon is only shown while online.
Folders		Folder.
Folders		Folder with child elements in a mixed online state.
Routines		Ladder routine.
		Ladder routine that is inherited. An inherited element inherits behaviors from its definition and any inherited definition. When a definition is updated, all instances and inherited definitions are also updated.
		Ladder routine that is inherited, and an override has been applied. See Override Smart Object elements for more information on overrides.
Programs		Program.
		Program that is inherited.
		Program that is overridden.
		Program with child elements in a mixed online state.
		Program that is inherited and that has child elements in a mixed online state.
