Hardware Power Up Self-Test Errors - 1794-VHSC
Bits in the Status member are not named because they may have 3 different interpretations, depending on the module operating mode as described below.
The Status Word bit values and bit definitions depend on the state of the VHSC. There are three reporting states:
- Normal operation (Status LED-solid green)
- Incomplete, incorrect, or conflicting configuration (Status LED-flashing green). Refer toConfiguration Errors (1794-VHSC)for more information.
- Hardware power up self-test error (Status LED-flashing red)
During hardware self-tests, when either Flexbus power or terminal base power is first applied and a fatal error occurs, the TestFail member is set to 1 and the red module status indicator turns on. An error code is placed in the Configuration Error member to indicate the failed resource; 1=RAM, 2=ROM, 3=EEPROM, and 4=FPGA. Use the table below to understand a hardware power up self-test error’s impact on other members of the AB:1794_VHSC:I:0.
