Input Configuration Tab - 1794-IF8I/A
Use this tab to configure each input channel of your analog input module.
Parameters
Channel
Configure the corresponding input channel.
Voltage/Current Range
Choose to configure the channel as:
- None (default)
- 0 to 20 mA
- 4 to 20 mA
- -10 to 10V
Conversion Rate
Configure the A/D conversion rate for the input channel as:
- 1200 Hz (default)
- 600 Hz
- 300 Hz
- 150 Hz
Low Pass Time Constant
Configure the low pass filter for the input channel as:
- None (default)
- 100 ms
- 500 ms
- 1000 ms
OK
Click this button to accept your edits on any tab and close the dialog.
Cancel
Click this button to cancel your edits on any tab and close the dialog.
Apply
Click this button to apply your edits on any tab and continue editing.
If:
- you are online in Program, Remote Program, or Remote Run mode and,
- this controller is the owner controller and,controllerA device that controls machines or processes elements (for example, a programmable controller or relay panel).
- you have changed the module’s configuration in the software,
- when you click the Apply or the OK button, the information is automatically sent to the controller. The controller tries to send the information to the module (if the module’s connection is not inhibited). If you don’t click Apply, your changes are not sent to the controller.
Note that the connection to a FLEX I/O module using Rack communication cannot be inhibited. The Inhibit checkbox on the Connection tab is disabled in this case.
