Ramp to Fault and Fault State inconsistent
The Ramp to Fault condition is set, but the Fault State is set to Hold Last State. The Fault State must be set to User Value for the Ramp to Fault bit to be set.
bit
The smallest storage location in memory that contains either a 1 (ON) or a 0 (OFF).
Either set the Fault State to User Value and enter a value, or clear the Fault bit.
The Fault State check box enables you to enable ramping from the current output value to the Fault Value when a fault occurs at the rate limit. Two conditions must be set when configuring Ramp to Fault:
- Maximum Ramp Rate must be a non-zero value.
- Fault State must be set to "User" to use a Fault Value on fault detection.
If you check the Fault State check box, the Rate Limit is your ramp rate.
