Controller Properties dialog box - Port Configuration tab

Use this tab to view and configure the port configuration settings for a controller. The settings define how data is sent and received between the port and the attached controller. The Port Configuration tb is only available for controllers with an embedded Ethernet port.
You can do the following on the Port Configuration tab.
  • Configure the port settings.
    IMPORTANT:
    Configuring the port settings involves writing data to the controller, which interrupts the connection to the controller and to any other device that is connected through it. Connections from other controllers may be interrupted as well. Ensure a connection interruption at this time is acceptable before proceeding.
  • View the port configuration settings.
TIP: To open the Controller Properties dialog box - Port Configuration tab:
  1. On the
    Online
    toolbar, click the
    Controller Properties
     icon.
  2. On the
    Controller Properties
    dialog box, click the
    Port Configuration
     tab.
