Cross reference dialog box parameters

dialog box parameters are:

Type
Specifies the project component for cross reference. Cross references these items:
  • Tag
  • Data Type
  • Routine
  • Program
  • Equipment Phase
  • Equipment Sequence
  • Add-On Instruction
  • Task
  • Module
  • Label
Scope
Select the extent of the cross reference. Choose the whole project, or specific tasks, routines, or Add-On Instructions to include. The selection determines the components that are listed in the
Name
field. For example, choose a specific routine for the
Scope
and choose
Tag
for the
Type.
Only tags included in that routine are available in the
Name
box.
Show
This selection controls the amount of cross reference information shown. These selections limit the displayed information:
  • Show All--Displays all references.
  • Destructive--Displays only references marked as Destructive. A reference is destructive if the execution of the instruction can change the data value of the tag.
  • Non-Destructive--Displays only references marked as Non-Destructive. A reference is non-destructive if the instruction only uses or reads a value and cannot modify it.
  • Reference--Displays only items that reference the specified component. For example, choose
    Tag
    for the
    Type
    and enter a specific tag in the
    Name
    box. Only tags that reference the tag in the
    Name
    box are listed.
  • Container--Displays only references in a specific container, such as a program, phase, sequence, or Add-On-Instruction.
  • Program--Displays only references in a specific program.
  • Routine--Displays references only in a specific routine.
  • Element--Displays references only in a specific element, such as an instruction.
Name
Identifies the name of the item cross referenced.
Refresh
Updates the tab with new data.
