Add a No phase step

Add a No phase step to:
  • Prevent sequence steps (in simultaneous divergences and convergences) from starting or stopping at the same time.
  • Maintain a consistent
    Equipment Sequence
     pattern of step-transition-step.
  • Separate adjacent branching structures.
To add a No phase step:
  1. Select in the Sequence Editor workspace, or select on an element to connect to in the sequence diagram.
  2. On the
    Equipment Sequence
     Element toolbar, select
    Add Disconnected Step
     .
  3. (optional) Right-click the existing link and then click
    Delete
     to remove any existing links from the element connectors.
  4. Click the connector of the first element to create a link, and then click the connector of the second element to attach the link.
  5. Double-click the phase name to display the phase selector, then select
    <No phase>
     from the list.
