Select multiple items in the organizers

You can select multiple items in the

Controller Organizer

or the

Logical Organizer

and then perform open, copy, cut, delete, move, partial export, or other operations on them. You can select multiple items only if they are:

Siblings (children of the same parent item), and

The same type (for example, programs or User-Defined Data Types).

Items that support multiple selection include:

Programs (programs in the

Controller Organizer

; programs and folders in the

Logical Organizer

)

Add-On Instructions

User Defined Data Types, including Strings

Routines, Motion Axes, Trends, and Modules do not allow multiple selection.

To select multiple items in the

Controller Organizer

or the

Logical Organizer

To select contiguous items:

Select the first item for the range of items.

SHIFT
+click the last item of the group. All of the items in the group are highlighted.

To select a non-contiguous group of items:

Select the first item to select it.

CTRL
+click the next item to add it to the selection. Continue until you have selected all the items.

To deselect an item, press CTRL
+click.
