Import Sections

Use the
Import Sections
 option to add sections to existing lineups.
Prerequisites
  • Purchase and download the dataset folder.
  • Unzip the dataset folder to your local drive.
  • A
    FactoryTalk Design Studio
     project with lineups.
To add sections to an existing lineup:
  1. From the IntelliCENTER MCC lineup explorer tree, right-click and select
    Import Sections
    . The
    Import Sections
     dialog box opens.
    1. To add new sections, select
      Browse
       under
      Documentation
       to locate the Sections documentation. The import tool reads the dataset and shows a list of available lineups.
    2. To replace a door or existing unit, select
      Browse
       under
      Documentation
       to locate the replacement Unit documentation.
  2. Select one or more lineup and select
    Import
    .
