Restore
Use the
Restore
option to return a project to a committed state.
TIP:
The
Restore
option is enabled for local and remote projects. For remote projects, Restore
only removes local commits.
To use the Restore option:
- SelectFile > Source control > Change history.
- In theChange historytab, select the commit you want to restore.
- SelectRestoreon the top right of theChange historytab.
- In theRestoredialog box, selectRestoreto return to selected project state orCancelto stop the restore action. SelectingRestorecauses all local commits after the restored commit to be permanently removed.
IMPORTANT:
- A restore will trigger a pull when remote changes are available. If conflicts are detected, theManage conflictsdialog box opens. Resolve and accept all conflicts to finish the merge and complete the restore. SelectingCancelwhile theManage conflictsdialog box is open also stops the restore action.
- When restoring more than one local commit, all commits are grouped together into one merge.
