MILWAUKEE (Oct. 23, 2024) – Rockwell Automation (NYSE:ROK), the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, today announced Gustavo Zecharies is named president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, effective immediately. As president, Zecharies will report to Scott Genereux, SVP and Chief Revenue Officer, and he succeeds Susana Gonzalez, who leaves Rockwell to pursue other opportunities.
In this role, Zecharies will lead and provide strategic direction for sales, services, and solutions in the EMEA region with a focus on growing the original equipment manufacturer segment, which accounts for a significant portion of the region’s business. He will drive revenue growth, strategic initiative performance, improved sales force effectiveness, and people development in the organization. Most recently, he served as regional vice president, Latin America, in Global Sales & Marketing. He brings a strong background in business management and sales leadership. Zecharies also has prior experience as a technical director leading software developers in the manufacturing industry.
“Gustavo has had a long and successful career at Rockwell running Canada sales, holding roles in Sales Operations and Market Access, and most recently leading outstanding performance in Latin America sales,” Genereux said. “He has a great track record of success and knows our customers well. Zecharies’ new role will be based in Spain.
