FactoryTalk Optix Studio Runtime entitlement upgrade on OptixPanels™ and Embedded Edge Computes

To upgrade a FactoryTalk Optix Studio Runtime entitlement, purchase the features belonging to the new entitlement.
To upgrade the FactoryTalk Optix Studio Runtime entitlement size package:
  1. Determine the size of the new entitlement package that you need.
    NOTE: To learn how to assess the entitlement package size according to your needs see Determine the Runtime Tools entitlement required for your application .
  2. To activate a FactoryTalk Optix Studio Runtime entitlement, see the
    Entitlement
     section in the
    OptixPanel™ Standard Operator Panel
     user guide available on https://literature.rockwellautomation.com/.
NOTE: The available upgrade entitlement packages for Embedded Edge Computes are:
  • XS > S
  • XS > M
  • XS > L
NOTE: The available upgrade entitlement packages for OptixPanels™ are:
  • OptixPanel™ Compact: S > M
  • OptixPanel™ Standard: M > L
