Backlash page

The settings on the
Backlash
 page configure backlash options for the load of the motor. Use the settings to:
  • Enter the
    Reversal Offset
     value to compensate for positional inaccuracy introduced by mechanical backlash.
  • Enter the
    Compensation Window
     value to define a window around the command position.
TIP: To open the Backlash page:
  1. In the
    Controller Organizer
    , expand the
    Motion Groups
     folder, and double-click an axis.
  2. From the
    Axis Properties
     dialog box, in
    Categories
    , expand the
    Load
     folder, and then click
    Backlash
    .
Parameter
Description
Reversal Offset
Specifies the reversal offset for the load in terms of user-defined position units.
Compensation Window
Specifies the compensation window in terms of user position units.
