Friction page

Use the settings on the
Friction
 page to:
  • Enter the percentage of sliding friction for the load of the motor.
  • Enter the friction compensation window position.
TIP: To open the Friction page:
  1. In the
    Controller Organizer
    , expand the
    Motion Groups
     folder, and double-click an axis.
  2. From the
    Axis Properties
     dialog box, in
    Categories
    , expand the
    Load
    folder, and then click
    Friction
    .
These are the
Friction
 page parameters.
Parameter
Description
Sliding Friction Compensation
Specifies the percentage of sliding friction for the load in % Rated units.
Compensation Window
Specifies the compensation window position in terms of user define position units.
Parameters
Opens the
Motion Axis Parameters
 page to modify existing or additional parameters.
Tip:
 The
Parameter List
 page may contain more attributes than the associated page. In some cases, attributes that display on the
Parameter List
 page do not display on the associated page.
