View the status of the axis

Use the
Status
page in the
Axis Properties
 dialog box to display the current status of the axis and digital I/O.
TIP: The available parameters depend on the
Axis Configuration
 on the
General page
.
Before you begin:
  • The device must be online to view the status information.
To view the status of the axis:
  1. In the
    Controller Organizer
    , expand the
    Motion Groups
     folder, and double-click an axis.
  2. From the
    Axis Properties
     dialog box, in
    Categories
    , click
    Status
    .
  3. The
    Axis Status
     shows the status of the axis. The LED next to each axis state lights up when it reaches that state. If the limit is not reached, the LED remains gray.
  4. The
    Digital I/O
     shows the state of the I/O. The LED next to each digital I/O state lights up when it reaches that state.
