Edit a template

Edit a template to change the attributes of objects and variables that you create that are based on the template.
  1. On your computer, navigate to the folder
    C:\Users\
    UserName
    \Documents\Rockwell Automation\FactoryTalk Optix\Libraries
    .
  2. Expand the folder of the desired library.
  3. Open the project that has the same name as the library.
  4. Select
    Template
    Libraries
    .
  5. Open the desired library folder.
  6. Add and remove templates in the library.
  7. Edit the objects that are in the library. In
    Project
    view
    , select the object and then edit the variable values in
    Properties
    .
