Limits page

Use the settings on the
Limits
 page to configure limits manual tuning parameters. Use the page to:
  • Enter the positive and negative peak torque limits.
  • Enter the acceleration and deceleration limits.
  • Enter the positive and negative velocity limits.
TIP: To open the Limits page:
  1. In the
    Controller Organizer
    , expand the
    Motion Groups
     folder, and double-click an axis.
  2. In the lower left of the
    Axis Properties
     dialog box, select
    Manual Tune
    .
  3. In the
    Motion Console
     dialog box, select
    Additional Tune > Limits
    .
The parameters appear dimmed if the current configuration does not support the parameter and when the axis is not Servo On.
Parameter
Description
Peak Torque Limit Positive
Select a value to limit the positive peak torque to a value in the range of 0 - 1000.
Peak Torque Limit Negative
Select a value to limit the negative peak torque to a value in the range of -1000 - 0.
Acceleration Limit
Select a value for a acceleration limit. The values are in the range of 0 - Max Float.
Deceleration Limit
Select a value for the deceleration limit. The values are in the range of 0 - Max Float.
Velocity Limit Positive
Select a value to limit the positive velocity. The values are in the range of 0 - Max Float.
Velocity Limit Negative
Select a value to limit the negative velocity. The values are in the range of 0 - Max Float.
