Configure a button

Add a button, bind the button events, and configure the button look and feel.
  1. In
    Project view
    , right-click a node to contain the button and select
    New
    Base controls
    Button
    .
    For example, add the button under
    MainWindow (type)
    .
  2. (optional) In
    Project view
    , hover-over the button, select
    Edit
    , and enter a new name for the button.
  3. (optional) In
    Properties
    , adjust the button look and feel:
    • Appearance
      . Adjust the button visibility, state, opacity, rotation, background color, and style.
    • Size and layout
      . Adjust the button size and position in your project.
    • Text and font
      . Enter the text to display in the button and adjust the text style.
    • Image
      . Include an icon inside the button and decide where to place the icon in relation to the button text.
      TIP: Select
      Browse
      and then either select
      Import file(s)
      to add an image to the project or select an existing image in the project. Set
      Image position
      to align the image in relation to the button text.
  4. In
    Events
    , create dynamic links between specific events and methods to execute.
