Save a project

Save a project to save the content. Store projects locally, in a version control repository, on a network drive, or a removable drive.
  • Save a project using one of three ways:
  • From the toolbar, select
    Save
    .
    The project is saved as a project to the same location from which you opened the project.
  • From the toolbar, select the down arrow after
    Save
    , select
    Save As
    , and then in
    Save project as
    , save the project:
    1. Name
      . Enter a new name.
    2. Location
      . Enter the location to save the project.
    3. (optional)
      Use Version Control
      . Select to track changes made and store the project in a Git repository.
      TIP: In order to use version control, the name you are saving and the repository name must match. Names must contain only alpha numeric characters, numerals, periods, dashes, and underscores.
    4. (optional)
      Encrypt secrets
      . Select to encrypt sensitive data in the project.
    5. Select
      OK
      .
  • From the toolbar, select
    Save
    Save and Commit
    .
    The project is saved and a commit is made to the local version control repository.
