Create a remote repository for a project

Create a remote repository to enable multi-user collaboration on a project.
  1. Create a blank remote repository with tools supplied by the supported version control provider.
IMPORTANT: The remote repository cannot contain any files, including the
    README
    ,
    .gitignore
    , and
    LICENSE
    files.
  2. Create an initial project named the same as the repository. See Create a project from a remote repository.
IMPORTANT: The project and repository names must match, including capitalization.
For GitLab projects, make sure the
    FactoryTalk Optix
project name, the GitLab project name, and the GitLab project slug match, including the capitalization.
