Import/Paste Configuration Dialog - Configure Add-On Instruction Properties Overview
Use this dialog box to configure how Add-On Instructions and referenced components are imported into your project, or how they are pasted into the project using the
Paste Special > With Configuration
command. If your Add-On Instruction collides with one already in the project, a message on this dialog box explains the conflict and you can then use this dialog box to rename the existing instruction overwrite the existing instruction, or use the existing instruction.
TIP:
You can only rename an Add-On Instruction definition if it is not source protected or has not been sealed with an instruction signature.

Next flagged item
Moves the focus to the next item that is flagged. The next icon appears dimmed when there are no red-flagged items.
Find
Type what text you want to find. You can search for components that collide, differences, and new components (searches for components that do not exist in the project). The Find control keeps a history of the ten most recent text search strings. This history is only remembered for the current import session.
Find previous
Moves the input focus in the dialog box to the previous instance of the text string or choice specified in the Find box.
Find next
Navigates to the text string or choice specified in the Find box.

Parameters
Import Content
This tree on the left side of the dialog box displays the Add-On Instruction, parameters and local tags, routine components, and any references in the Reference folder. The References folder only appears if there is logic or tags in the Add-On Instruction that references, data types, or Add-On Instructions.
When the imported Add-On Instruction is selected, the details on the right side of the dialog box display the selected Add-On Instruction’s properties.
The References folder can contain folders for referenced data types, and Add-On Instructions.
Click Add-On Instructions to see the Configure Add-On Instruction References view. If any referenced instruction definitions collide, a warning flag appears next to the References folder.
Import Name
The name of the component from the import file.
Operation
The task performed on the Add-On Instruction upon import. The field is pre-populated, however you can select another option from the pull-down list.
If the Add-On Instruction collides with another definition in the project, the icon appears. If there is no collision with an existing definition, the icon appears indicating that there is no component collision.
TIP:
You cannot overwrite an Add-On Instruction while online. For more information, see Import Configuration Operations.
Final Name
The name of the component as it appears in the project after the import. Changing the Final Name changes the name in all places where this component’s Import Name is referenced in the import content throughout the logic. By default, this name is the same as the Import Name.
Click the drop-down arrow to select from a list of all components in the program to which you are importing the Add-On Instruction.
If the Final Name collides with and existing component in the project and you selected Overwrite, the existing component is overwritten with the logic content and properties of the component in the import file.
If the component in the import file is source-protected, the Final Name field is read-only.
Collision Details / Properties
This button appears if the imported Add-On Instruction collides with an existing Add-On Instruction in the project. Clicking this button to display the collision details dialog box.
IMPORTANT:
You may either create or avoid a collision by modifying the final name (if you modify the final name to match that of another final name in the project).
If the Add-On Instruction does not collide with a component, the Properties button is displayed instead. Click this button to display the properties dialog box .
Description
The description of the component. Unless you are discarding or using the existing instruction definition, you can change the description. If the Add-On Instruction in the import file is source-protected, this field is read-only.

Otherwise, the read-only content from the project appears. The Revision field displays the Major Revision, Minor Revision, and Revision Extension.
