Normal mode | In FactoryTalk Updater, it is a default mode that FactoryTalk Updater will collects installed software information, static and transaction activation information, AOP information in agent, and get and show the latest information of installed software from PCDC and do the patch deployment just like the previous version. |
OT mode | OT (Operational technology) is hardware and software that detects or causes a change, through the direct monitoring and/or control of industrial equipment, assets, processes and events. OT environment usually describes environments containing industrial control systems (ICS). In FactoryTalk Updater, it refers to the environment that cannot connect to PCDC. |
IT mode | IT (Information technology) is the use of computers to create, process, store, retrieve and exchange all kinds of data and information. In FactoryTalk Updater, it refers to the environment that can connect to PCDC |
