Calibration errors in High Reference or Low Reference (1756 analog output)
If a calibration error occurs:
- Check the wiring to the output channel
- Verify the correct signal is being measured
- Verify that the values you entered are correct
After confirming the channel's signal is being measured properly, select the
Retry
button. Continued calibration errors may indicate a channel failure. To exit a calibration when a channel is not calibrating, select
Stop
. If the calibration cancels with errors present, the module Calibration Fault and the Channel Calibration Fault bits are set for any channels in error to a potential channel failure. A channel that has a calibration error continues to operate with its old calibration parameters, but should be verified for proper operation. In this case, either the calibration equipment or the channel itself is bad.Provide Feedback
