Configure the 1756-IR6I in Floating Point Mode
To configure the 1756-IR6I in floating point mode:
- Select the channel button to configure the desired channel.
- Enter the appropriate scaling values for:
- Low Signal
- Low Engineering
- High Signal
- High Engineering
- Select the up and down arrow in theRTSbox to enter theReal Time Sampleperiod.
- Select the desired temperature scale button.
- Select the down arrow to select the desired input operating range.
- Select the down arrow to select a sensor.
- Enter the appropriate offset value for the calibration bias.
- Select the down arrow in theNotch Filterbox to select the desired filter frequency.
- Select the up and down arrow in theDigital Filterbox to select the desired filter time constant.
- Select the up and down arrow in the 10 OhmCopper Offsetbox to select a value to add compensation for the copper input.
- SelectOKto save the changes and close the dialog.
