Configure FLEX Specialty I/O or Specialty Ex I/O Modules
You can use the default configuration supplied with your FLEX Specialty I/O or Ex modules, or you can use the
Logix Designer
application features to configure a module specific to your application. You can:- accept default configuration for your module or
- write point-level configuration specific to your application.
To configure a FLEX Specialty I/O or Ex module:
- Position the cursor on the module you want to configure, and right-click the mouse button and select Properties.
- Enter the configuration information.
- Click:
- OK to accept your edits and close the dialog.
- Cancel to delete your edits and close the dialog.
- Apply to make your edits effective and continue editing.

You can also configure a module when creating a module. If you choose not to use the default configuration established for a FLEX Specialty I/O module, you can configure it according to your own specifications.
Choose from the FLEX I/O modules below for configuration of that module.
