Open/Import Project Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to open a project file or to perform a full import of a project file. Closes an open project if no changes were made. If the currently open project was modified, a prompt appears to save changes.
Select
Source Control
 on the Places toolbar (right portion of the dialog box) to view the AssetCentre Archive source control.

Look in:
Select the directory in which the project resides.
Up One Level
Move up one level in the directory tree.
Create New Folder
Create a new folder in the current directory.
List
Display a list of files in this directory.
Details
Display a list of files in this directory with all of the associated file details (for example, file size, date).
File name:
  • Choose the type of file to open or import:
  • Files of type: All Files (*.*)
  • All
    Logix Designer
     application Files (*.ACD, *.L5K, *.L5X, *.XML, *.RDF, *.AML)
  • Logix Designer
     application Project Files (*.ACD)
  • Logix Designer
     application Import/Export Files (*.L5K)
  • Logix Designer
     application XML Import/Export Files (*.L5X, *.XML)
  • Hardware diagram files (*.RDF, *.AML)
Open/Import
Open or import the specified file.
Cancel
Cancel the open or import and close the
Open/Import Project
 dialog box.

Source Control View
View the Source Control view.
Look in:
Select the directory in the AssetCentre archive where the file to import resides.
Up One Level
Move up one level in the directory tree.
Active when logged in to a server or database and not already at the top level of the tree.
This button is View Menu
Select view type (list of file names or file names with the username).
Active when logged in to a server or database.
Login
Log in to a specific server and attach to a specific database.
Manage Server Registrations
Open a dialog box to manage one or more server or database combinations.
Select Version of Label for the Operation
Select an archived element based on either version or a label. Active when a file is selected.
Search for Files or Folder
Search for files or folders within the current archive database. Active when logged in to a server or database
Help
View Help about using source control.
Check Out
If unselected, retrieves a copy of the selected file when clicking
Get
If selected, checks out the file to retrieve.
If selected file is checked out, option is not selected and not active .
File Name
Displays the currently selected file (read-only).
Files of type:
Shows the file type. The only available type for the Source Control View is
Logix Designer
 application (.ACD).
Get
Retrieve the file or determine if file is checked out.
This button is active if logged in to a server or database and if have selected a file to retrieve.
Cancel
Cancel the open or import and close the
Open/Import Project
 dialog box.
