Controller Properties dialog box - Major Faults tab settings

Use the settings on the
Major Fault
 tab of the
Controller Properties
 dialog box to view information about recent major faults and clear the major fault log.
The ability to change the settings on this tab can be controlled by
FactoryTalk Security
 permissions.
Parameters
Description
Number of Major Faults Since Last Cleared
Displays the number of reported major fault events since the log was cleared.
Recent Faults
Displays a description of the last three major faults. These faults are stored in reverse chronological order. When offline, this field contains the stored contents of the last online session.
If using a Safety controller, there are two tabs under Recent Faults:
Standard
and
Safety
. These tabs display faults from the Standard control and Safety control.
Safety Task Major Fault
The indicator only appears for safety controllers. Offline the text is disabled. Online the text is enabled and appears as blue when a safety fault exist.
Clear Majors
Clears the Major Fault log.
