View runtime memory usage for controllers with divided memory

For controllers with divided memory, the
Capacity
tab on the
Controller Properties
dialog box can be used when the controller is online to view the actual memory used by the controller for I/O, data, and logic. For safety controllers, the tab shows memory used for safety components such as safety tasks, safety programs, and safety tags.
While the controller is running, it uses additional memory for communication; this amount varies depending on the state of the communication.
Max Used
displays the peak memory usage as communication occurs.
IMPORTANT:
This procedure applies to CompactLogix 5370, ControlLogix 5570, Compact GuardLogix 5370, and GuardLogix 5570 controllers. Some controllers, for example the Compact GuardLogix 5380. CompactLogix 5380, CompactLogix 5480, ControlLogix 5580, and GuardLogix 5580 controllers, store all elements in one common area.
