Assign Quick Keys

Use
Assign Quick Keys
 to configure quick keys for use in the ladder editor. The list of keys shows the instruction and the key currently assigned to the instruction.
Add-On-Instructions cannot be used as Quick Keys.
To assign Quick Keys
  1. Double-click the entry
    in the Instruction column next to the Quick Key to assign or reassign. _Free displays for unassigned Quick Keys.
  2. To assign the Quick Key, select the ladder element or instruction from the list.
    The default Quick Key mappings are:

  3. Select
    Assign Key
     to associate the element or instruction with the selected key.
To add the instruction or elements to which the Quick Key is assigned in the Ladder editor, press the key and the instruction or element is added to the routine.
To enable Quick Keys
  1. From
    Tools
    , choose
    Options
    .
    Workstation Options
     appears.
  2. Select
    Ladder
    Editor
     from the
    Categories
     list and select
    Enable Quick Key
    .
Access Quick Key Configuration
  1. From
    Tools
    , choose
    Options
    .
    Workstation Options
     appears.
  2. Select
    Ladder
    Editor
     from the
    Categories
     list and then click
    Configure
    .
