HMI text for PTST instructions

Use the
HMI
tab of the
PTST Properties
 dialog box to enter the information provided by the selected PTST instruction or function block to label HMI faceplates.
To enter HMI text for PTST instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>

  2. Open the
    HMI
     tab.
  3. Set the parameters:
    • Library name
      . The text used for associating instructions with the display library for faceplate call-up.
    • Instruction name
      . The text used for associating the instruction name for faceplate call-up.
    • Display label
      . The label to show on the graphic HMI symbol.
    • Area name for security
      . The area name for area-based security scheme adopted in the HMI.
    • Help button URL
      . The user-defined URL for accessing help from the HMI.
    • Enable navigation to an object with more information
      . Type the name of the object to navigate to if object with more information is enabled.
    • Volume
      . Type the engineering unit for volume.
    • Temperature
      . Type the engineering unit for temperature.
    • Level
      . Type the engineering unit for level.
  4. Select
    Apply.
