Configure multiple devices

When you add multiple devices at the same time, you can configure basic settings for the devices all at once.

To configure multiple devices

In Devices
explorer, select

Hamburger Menu
, then select Add device icon

Add device
. The Add device
dialog box opens.

Select each catalog number to add to the project. The selected devices appear in the

Devices to Add

list on the right of the dialog.

Continue

. The

Bulk Configure

dialog opens.

Configure basic properties for each device to add it to the project. The basic properties vary depending on the device type.

Device name

. Enter a unique name for the device.

Chassis size

. Select the number of slots in the chassis.

Slot number

. Select a slot for the device.

IP address

. Enter an IP address for the device.

Select

Finish

. When the devices are added to the project, they are listed in the

Devices

explorer.
