Project information model contains a root project node that includes every object,
object type, variable, variable type, method, and custom data types in the project.
The name of the root node is the same as the project name. Descendant project nodes
may be organized into folders and subfolders.
Example: Root project node and descendant nodes
The structure of the project can mirror the physical structure of machines.
Structuring machines in the project as they appear in the physical environment makes
it easy to manage them.
Example: Project reflecting physical structure of machines in the
field
Node information model
A node information model indicates a set of nodes that describes the structure and
characteristics of a project node.
For example, a Motor object may consist of a Stator object and a Crankshaft object.
Each of these objects can contain variables that describe their properties.
