Cross reference dialog box
Use the
Cross Reference
function to search an entire project and find every occurrence of the selected element address. Perform this function while either online or offline with the controller. Depending on the element selected, the Cross Reference
view can contain up to four separate tabs for four different kinds of references.
TIP:
To open the Cross Reference dialog, select
Search > Cross Reference
.Filter cross reference information views by component type by selecting one of these tabs:
- Logic
- Tag
- Tag hierarchy
- Connection
After selecting a tab, use these settings at the top of the
Cross Reference
view to display project information in read-only columns.- Type
- Name
- Scope of the component
- Show menu, choose the columns of information to include in the display.
