Drop Down Tag Browser Dialog Box Overview

The Tag Browser displays the tag name, data type, and description of the selected tag. This browser lists all the tags in the controller or program level scope. The scope displays the scope of the current tag. The scope is controller scope, or program scope, based on one of the programs in the controller. If the tag is a SINT, INT, or DINT type, a bit selection menu can be used to select a specific bit.

Select the down arrow next to the tag name to select a bit.

Resize the columns in the tag browser by clicking and dragging the edges of the column. When your columns are too narrow to see the entire width, use the tooltips to see the full contents of the selected field.
