PDOSE operator setpoint

Use the
Setpoint
tab on the
PDOSE Properties
dialog box to configure the operator setpoint for Process Dosing (PDOSE) instructions.
To configure the operator setpoint for PDOSE instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Under the
    General
    tab, select
    Setpoint
    .
  3. In the
    Setpoint
    box, enter an Operator setpoint. The setpoint is the target quantity to deliver.
  4. Monitor these parameters:
    • Program setpoint
      . The setpoint used when ownership is set to Program.
    • External setpoint
      . The setpoint used when ownership is set to External.
    • Current setpoint
      . The setpoint currently in use.
    • Device state
      . When the
      Logix Designer
       application is online with the controller, displays the current device state.
    • Device issues
      . When the
      Logix Designer
       application is online with the controller, displays fault conditions.
  5. Select
    Apply
    .
