Configure PFO instructions

Use the
Advanced
tab of the
PFO Properties
dialog box to configure the selected Process Analog Fanout (PFO) instruction.
To configure PFO instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Open the
    Advanced
    tab.
  3. Set the parameters:
    • Clamping limits (max, min)
. The input CV minimum (Lo Clamping) or CV maximum (Hi Clamping) (in engineering units).
    • Display limits (max, min)
. These parameters must be set to the range of the signal connected to Inp_CV.
    • Initialize primary using (CV1 initial value, Fixed value)
      . When Cfg_UseFixedInitialization = 1 use Cfg_FixedInitialazationVal to initialize primary. When Cfg_UseFixedInitialization = 0 use Inp_CV1InitializationVal to initialize primary.
    • On bad input CV (Copy bad value to outputs, Hold last good value)
      . 1 = Hold Output on Inf/NaN Input. 0 = Copy Inf/NaN through.
    • Has CV
. Configuration indicates if CV2 to CV8 outputs are connected and should be used. Select the check box if the CV will be connected and used for this instance.
    • Minimum
. The output CV1 to CV8 minimum in engineering units (for clamping).
    • Maximum
. The output CV1 to CV8 maximum in engineering units (for clamping).
    • Take-up rate (EU/s)
. The rate (in engineering units/seconds) which CV1 to CV8 bias is taken up after the corresponding Inp_CVnInitReq clears to 0.
  4. Select
    Apply
    .
