HMI text for PPTC instructions

Use the
HMI
 tab of the
PPTC Properties
 dialog box to enter text that appears on HMI devices for the instruction.
To enter HMI text for PPTC instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>

  2. Open the
    HMI
    tab.
  3. Set the parameters:
    • Library name
      . The text used for associating instructions with a display library for faceplate call-up.
    • Instruction name
      . The text used for associating the instruction name for faceplate call-up.
    • Display label
      .Type the label to show on the graphic HMI symbol.
    • Area name for security
      .Type the area name for the area-based security scheme adopted in HMI.
    • Help button URL
      . User-defined URL for accessing help from HMI.
    • Differential pressure units
      . The text used for associating engineering units for differential pressure.
    • Uncompensated flow units
      . The text used for associating engineering units for uncompensated flow.
    • Pressure units
      . The text used for associating engineering units for pressure.
    • Temperature units
      . The text used for associating engineering units for temperature.
    • Compensated flow units
      . The text used for associating engineering units for compensated flow.
  4. Select
    Apply
    .
