PHLS status

Use the
General
 tab of the
PHLS Properties
dialog box to monitor the status of the selected Process High or Low Selector (PHLS) instruction or function block including offsets.
To monitor the status of PHLS instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Open the
    General
    tab.
  3. View the read-only parameters:
    • Device state
      . When the
      Logix Designer
       application is online with the controller, the indicator displays the current device state, such as Off, Pulse on, or Out of service.
    • Device issues
      . When the
      Logix Designer
       application is online with the controller, the indicator displays fault conditions, such as Feedback fault or I/O fault.
    • Input value
      . The selected inputs in engineering units (inputs 1 to 6).
    • Output value
      . The selected output in engineering units.
  4. Select
    OK
    .
