FactoryTalk Optix Studio Interface
Description of the different parts of FactoryTalk Optix Studio software user interface.
Design environment
Use the following reference table to identify the different functions in each area. For a list of each command in the area, select the area name in this reference table.

H | Editor to display or set the properties of the selected node in the Project view or in the object editor. | |
Toolbars
Several commands apply to all objects. These command icons are visible on toolbars or next to the selected object, element, or property.

Add a dynamic link that evaluates and sets the value of the corresponding field during runtime. | |
Edit an existing dynamic link. | |
Provides a drop-down menu of additional commands relative to the adjacent button. |
Global settings
At the top of the application open the
Options
menu to configure global settings:- FactoryTalk Optix Studio Options. Global settings for the FactoryTalk Optix Studio application. Also provides a link to update FactoryTalk Optix software.
- Create certificate. Create a certificate for use with your FactoryTalk Optix Applications. For more information, see Manage OPC UA certificates and keys.
- Module log level configuration. Configure the module log level to change the maximum level of information displayed in the log panel. For more information, see Module log level configuration
