Configure version control
Configure version control in
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
to commit, push, and pull
project changes.- In the title bar, selectand thenFactoryTalk Optix Studio OptionsVersion control.
- UnderVersion Control User Configuration, inUser Name, enter your user name.TIP:User Nameis the name that appears next to commits when you openView historyfor a project. View history also identifies your commits with an avatar that uses the first letter of your name. For more information, see Version history.
- InUser Email, enter your email address.
- (optional) To push to and pull from remote repositories of supported version control providers, configure user identities. See Add a user identity and Remove a user identity.
- (optional) To synchronize the available remote repositories across differentFactoryTalk Optix Studioinstances, sign in toFactoryTalk Hub. See Synchronize remote projects list.
