Ladder or Structured Text Font and Color Preferences

Set font and color preferences for the
Logix Designer
 application in the
Workstation Options
 and
Print Options
 dialog boxes.
Workstation Options
 contains settings for display on the screen, and
Print Options
 contains settings that control the appearance of printed reports. Display and printing preferences can be configured differently, even though the options for the
Font/Color
 categories are same on each dialog box.
TIP:
  • To open the
    Print Options
     dialog box, on the main menu, select
    File > Print Options
    .
  • To open the
    Workstations Options
     dialog box, on the main menu, select
    Tools > Options
    .
Configure font and color for items displayed in the editors or on Ladder or Structured Text reports using the
Ladder
 and
Structured Text
Editor/Listing Font/Color
 categories.
The name of the category visible in the options dialog varies depending on which options are being set, the display or print options. For
Workstation Options
, all categories refer to the Ladder or Structured Text Editor; for
Print Options
, the categories refer to the
Ladder Listing
 or
Structured Text Listing
.

Setting
Description
Font
The font used for text in the editor.
Size
The size of text in the editor.
Items
The objects in the editor for which you can choose the color, such as comments, instructions, tags, and line numbers.
Foreground color
The color of the foreground in the editor.
Background color
The color of the background in the editor.
Sample
A preview of the selected item with configured settings.
