Edit routine properties

Use the
Routine Properties
 dialog box to edit routine properties.
To edit routine properties:
  1. In the
    Controller Organizer
    , right-click the routine and select
    Properties
     to open the
    Routine Properties
     dialog box.
  2. In
    Name
    , type a name for the routine.
    TIP:
    The state routine names for equipment phases are fixed and cannot be changed.
  3. In
    Description
    , enter a description of the routine.
  4. To apply a set of permissions to the routine, select a
    Permission Set
    . The permission set controls access to the routine based on the permissions configured in
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
    . The default setting,
    <Controller Inherited>
    , applies the same security settings that have been applied to the controller or project.
  5. Select
    OK
    .
