Upgrade a project
You can open a project that was created with a previous version of
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
with later a version by upgrading the project. During the upgrade, FactoryTalk Optix Studio
creates a backup copy of the original version of the
project.
IMPORTANT:
After the upgrade, you can no longer open the
project with the previous version of
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
. To restore an
incorrectly upgraded project, see Restore a project.- Open a project created with a previous version ofFactoryTalk Optix Studio.A message appears to request an upgrade of the modules in use.
- SelectUpgrade.A detailed report of the upgrade process appears.
- After reviewing the report, selectContinueto confirm that the project should be upgraded.
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
