Delete a routine from the organizers
Use the
Delete
command to remove a routine from the Controller Organizer
and the Logical Organizer
. Deleting a routine from either organizer also deletes it from the other organizer. You can delete only one routine at a time.There are no restrictions to this operation when the system is offline.
When the system is online, you cannot delete a routine if:
- The controller is inRemote TestorRemote Runand the routine is the Main, Fault, Prestate (equipment phase), or State (equipment) routine.
- The routine is referenced by a Jump to Subroutine (JSR) instruction.TIP: If FactoryTalk Security is enabled, FactoryTalk Security permissions are required to create and delete items in theController Organizerand theLogical Organizer.
To delete a routine
:- Right-click the routine, and then chooseDelete.
- ChooseYesto confirm the deletion.TIP:You can also delete a routine by selecting it and then using one of these methods:
- From theMenubar, selectEdit>Delete.
- Press theDeletekey.
