Import or export a trend

Import or export a trend

Trends can be exported to a file for storage and later analysis. Importing a trend makes it available in the Controller Organizer for viewing.
To import a trend:
  1. From the
    Controller Organizer
    , expand the
    Assets
     folder, right-click the
    Trends
     folder, and choose
    Import Trend
    .
    The
    Import Trend
     dialog is displayed.
  2. In
    File name
    , enter the name of the trend file you want to open.
    You can also enter the name by clicking on a file shown in the browser.
  3. Select
    Import
     to import the trend.
    The trend is added to the
    Trends
     folder in the
    Controller Organizer
    .
To export a trend:
  1. From the
    Controller Organizer
    , right-click the trend you want to export and choose
    Export Trend
    .
    The
    Export Trend
     dialog is displayed.
  2. In
    File name
    , enter a name for the export file.
    You do not need to add a file extension, but if you do, you must use the .L5X extension.
  3. Select
    Export
     to export the trend file.
