Import an MCC lineup

Import MCC lineups from datasets purchased with IntelliCENTER MCCs documentation associated with it (post-shipment) or without documentation associated with it (pre-shipment).
Prerequisites
  • Purchase and download the dataset folder.
  • Unzip the dataset folder to your local drive.
To import an MCC lineup
In FactoryTalk Design Studio:
  1. Open or create a project.
  2. Select
    File > Import > MCC lineup
     to open the
    Import MCC Lineup
     dialog box.
    1. To import an MCCs dataset, under
      Databases
      , select
      Browse
       to locate the dataset folder on your local drive.
    2. To import MCCs lineup documentation, under
      Documentation
      , select
      Browse
       to locate the folder on your local drive.
      TIP: You have the option to browse for both databases and documentation and add them to the lineup in one import step.
  3. Select one or more of the lineups and select
    Upload
     to import the datafiles into FactoryTalk Design Studio.
