Add Project to Source Control

Use this dialog to add a project to source control.
Parameter
Description
Selected folder
Displays the currently selected folder within source control view.
Look in
Select the directory in the AssetCentre archive where the project to open or import resides. (The last open location is remembered upon subsequent returns.)
Up One Level - Up_One_Level
Move up one level in the directory tree.
Active when logged in to a server or database and not at the top level of the tree.
View Menu - View_menu
Select the view type (view list of file names or list of file names with the username).
Active when logged in to a server or database.
Login - Login
Log in to a specific server and attach to a specific database.
Select this button to Manage Server Registrations - Manage_Server_Registrations
Open dialog to manage one or more servers or database combinations.
Select Version or Label for the Operation - select_version_or_label_for_the_operation
Select an archived element based off of either version or a label.
Active when file selected.
Search for Files or Folder - search_for_files_or_folders (2)
Search for either files or folders within the current archive database.
Active when logged in to a server or database.
Help - Help
Display help about using source control.
New Folder
Create a new folder within the source control database.
Select
New Folde
r to open the New Folder dialog.
Comments
Enter a comment up to 255 characters in length. Comments longer than 255 characters are truncated.
Check out after adding to source control
If checked, the file is checked out immediately after it is added to source control.
If not checked, the file is reopened as a file copy.
This control is checked by default.
OK
Add the open project to the selected folder. A prompt to save appears if unsaved edits.
Select this button to Cancel
Close the dialog and return to the open project without adding the project to source control.
