PD4SD inputs and outputs for each state

Use the
Advanced > State configuration
 tab to configure the inputs and outputs for each state for Process Discrete 2-, 3-, or 4-State Device (PD4SD) instructions.
To configure the inputs and outputs for each state for PD4SD instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Select the
    Advanced > State configuration
     tab.
  3. Configure these settings:
    • State.
       Select the state to configure inputs and outputs.
    • Output write.
       Select to write to the output in the selected state.
    • Output value.
       Enter
      0
       or
      1
       to be written to the output in the selected state.
    • Feedback required.
       Select to use the input for feedback checking in the selected state.
    • Feedback state.
       Enter
      0
       or
      1
       to be used for feedback checking in the selected state. This is the expected feedback value to confirm the device is in the selected state.
  4. Select
    Apply
    .
