PVLVMP time settings

Use the
Advanced > Time configuration
 tab on the PVLVMP Properties dialog box to configure time parameters for Process Mix Proof Valve (PVLVMP) instructions.
To configure time settings for PVLVMP instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Select the
    Advanced > Time configuration
     tab.
  3. Configure these settings:
    • Time to sound audible on commanded energize
      . Enter the number of seconds to sound an audible notification when the valve is commanded to move from the closed position.
    • Time after valve command for feedback before fault
      . Enter the number of seconds to allow for valve state feedback after a command. If feedback is not received within the allotted time, the instruction reports a
      Failure
       status.
    • Time to close seat when pulsing seat for cleaning
      . Enter the number of seconds to close the seat when pulsing for cleaning.
    • Time to lift seat when pulsing for cleaning.
       Enter the number of seconds to lift the seat when pulsing for cleaning.
  4. Select
    Apply
    .
